VI COMMANDO

Cpl. J. Beard, formerly of the Royal Sussex Regiment, served in No.6 Commando from 7th April 1943 until 23rd July 1945.

After the war he served with the Royal Sussex Regiment in Palestine and was awarded the General service Medal for that Campaign.
