Prt. John “Jack” Nelson, formerly of the Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders, served in No.2 Troop of No.6 Commando from 15th February 1944 until 18th July 1945.
Prt. John Nelson was promoted to a Lance Corporal on 31st March 1945.
